Land use and adaptive governance under climate change: Analysis of four cases in pastoral areas of China

Under the impact of climate change, pastoral areas China have experienced increasing frequency and intensity extreme events, which has brought more challenges to pastoralists’ livelihood. Adaptive governance refers resilience through collaborative, flexible, learning-oriented management on different scales form a set political, social, economic, administrative systems for development, management, allocation resources. As such, it provides useful framework benchmark enhancing adaptive capacity.
